Good individual advice is crucial for the successful sale of a bicycle. With an increasing number of interested parties in the store, however, it becomes impossible to guarantee a detailed consultation with short waiting times. In order to find a digital solution to this problem, our partner from the two-wheeler trade turned to Bitrock.
Together with our customer, we developed the business model and its core USPs in the first step of the project. Subsequently, the new business idea was designed through partner and customer interviews as well as detailed market and competition research. A digital point of advice & sale, in the form of a mobile stele with interactive touch display, has proven to be a suitable solution for the customer through the insights gained about the market, customer and competition. The design as a SaaS model with clear and attractive packaging – tailored to the dealer's needs as well as interfaces to relevant systems – make the concept unique. Since 2018, BikeCenter has been one of the largest digital platforms in bicycle retailers. More than 650 dealers use the developed solution daily in their sales talks, thus realizing more than one million valuable end customer contacts every year.
